I picked up a pack of these grain sack placemats at Home Goods yesterday. They were only $9.99. I knew immediately they'd be getting a quick Frenchy makeover.
I printed out this great French image from The Graphics Fairy onto iron-on transfer paper. And voila!
Instant French placemats. I would have liked to make the image a little bigger but I only had one sheet of transfer paper left so I had to use the 3"x4" setting.
Isn't the image perfect for them? It's like it was meant to be!
What's nice is they match my grainsack towels from Ikea, and a table runner I made using fabric from Fabrics.com.

ReplyDeleteOooh, la, la! The graphic you added to the placemats is tres magnifique! I need to get brave and try some of that iron on transfer paper!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I think the image size is fine for them. How many came in a pack?
ReplyDeleteI love how your placemats turned out! The graphic looks perfect. I tried an iron on transfer once and it was an epic fail. Maybe someday I'll try again. Have a wonderful day! ~ Jamie
