Fifteen Stitches Later...

The past few days have been a bit of a blur.  You see, our 11 year old fell last week and split his chin open.  Fifteen stitches later, I'm still a nervous wreck.
Since he's taking it easy this week, I did the only thing that would calm my nerves: I crafted.  I had some sachets hiding in my craft room.  I broke them out and put my new RV/camper rubber stamp to good use and made some lavender-scented sachets.
I also made this cute little holiday one.  All are in my Etsy.
In other news, coming home from my Mom's the other day, we spied this petite rocking chair in the garbage.  See the broken piece?  My husband swears he can fix it.  So this will likely be my next project.

Meanwhile, the 11 year old gets his stitches out tomorrow.  Wish us luck!

  1. Such cute bags!! Lucky you finding a chair roadside...lucky. We simply do not have people who do that here. Your poor baby, I do wish you luck. Now he will have a story to tell.

  3. Thanks ladies! I don't do well with blood so it took everything I had to get the blood to stop and get his lanky body in the car. Stitches came out yesterday. Woo hoo!
