Garage Sale Finds

Super excited to share this morning's garage sale finds.  So many sales, but so little time since my husband's niece is getting married later today.  Here's what I scooped up:
How about a nice old whiskey barrel for $5?
This ice bucket with stand was also $5.  I'm going back and forth on whether or not to paint it white or keep the metal color.  The basket is definitely getting a makeover.
The green chalkboard reminds me of elementary school and the gold mirror is getting a chalkboard makeover.  Oh and can't forget the vintage 1938 math book.

I could have spent the entire day shopping but, alas, I could not.  How'd you do?

  2. I got just a few things so you did way better. Is that mirror old? It looks old I have one in my bathroom that looks just like it. The wine bucket on the stand is intersting. but the barrell is the best find.

  8. Almost nothing will stop me from going to garage sales on Saturday morning. Iwent yard sailing the morning of my brothers wedding and my mom was mad. I said they aren't being married till 2 O'clock in the afternoon...I was there in plenty of time! Love your finds. I love your other blog One Cheap B*tch, so I became a follower. Would love to win a gift certificate to AC Moore, so thanks for the chance.
