Road Trip ~ Boston

The boys are off from school this week, so we planned a quick trip to Boston.  It was a little chilly (and rainy), but we managed to walk the Freedom Trail, visit the New England Aquarium and travel to Salem.
I'm a bit of a history buff, so I was in my glory.
And I looooove old, historic cemeteries.
This grave marker is for a four year old, though.  That was sad.
We got to see the Robert Shaw Memorial...
And the Paul Revere Mall...
And this touching Memorial Garden for our troops.
Now, Salem was cold and rainy.  Still, we made the best of it.
We got to see a brief re-enactment of the Salem Witch Trials.
And visited several museums.

It was an awesome trip and we certainly packed a lot into 4 days. But it feels good to be home!
