Grab some black and gold acrylic paints. First, paint the frames black (I know it seems counterproductive given the frames are already gold, but stick with me) and allow to dry. Then use your gold to paint over the black. The end result is a gorgeous antique finish. It's hard to believe these are the same frames, right?!
I'm not going to lie: I'm a little obsessed.
This is my next antiquing project (ignore the mess in the reflection!): $25 decorative floor frame from Five Below.
I can't wait to turn it into an under $50 Anthropologie dupe!
