Pinterest Knife Block Copycat
I'm sure I'm not the only one drawing inspiration from Pinterest. I love it when I find a pin and have all of the components needed to be a copycat. I saw a beautiful knife block someone did and knew immediately, I had everything I needed to make one too.
I gave it a few coats of spray paint. Originally I had planned to use a French label in the middle but it just didn't look right. So I used a French script font to print out this large B (for our last name). I printed it off on label paper so all I had to do was cut, peel and stick.
It adds a pop of color to our kitchen counter. And since my color scheme is turquoise and white, it fits perfectly with the other touches of blue ontop of our cabinets.
Totally cost for this project: $0 as I had everything I needed!

I've been wanting to paint mine since before we moved! Haven't done it yet. Of course, that's probably a good thing because originally I was just going to spray it with Oil Rubbed Bronze, but don't think I'd go that way now. Yours turned out great!
