Remember this wood letter desk I upcycled a few months ago?
Well, I upcycled it again over the weekend because the original image I had used peeled off. Grr...
This time I painted it white and used the Mod Podge method to add my image. I'm loving the white so much better than the grey I first used. The image is a favorite of mine from The Graphics Fairy.
I added this little embellishment to the front using some French book paper.
And I'm in the process of lining the inside with vintage sheet music.
I think I'm going to get a lot more use of this now!

Whenever I visit my sister in Virginia, she takes me to this great outdoor flea market. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went last week, but I still managed to score a few goodies.
Loving these bunny baking tins. I hate, though, when people put the sticker on the front of an item. I scrapped it off, but there is still some sticky residue. Contemplating painting these white or adding to my vintage Etsy.
I found another set of vintage, Tupperware salt and pepper shakers. The first pair I found sold out in minutes on my vintage Etsy.
Lastly is this teeny-tiny tin. It has some rusting on the inside, but that's okay. I'm planning on adding a pretty vintage image and turning it into an ornament.
I think I spent about $5 on everything. Score!

Been so busy with family visiting and us visiting family that I've only been able to eek out some BINGO glassine sacks. I'm behind in everything - including my blog reading. These will be headed to my Etsy once I have a chance to breathe.

I picked up three of these great urns at a garage sale recently. Three for $1.
The detailing is so pretty. The almost-mercury glass like look really caught my eye. So why then did I do this?????
My husband tried to talk me out of it. I didn't listen. I thought "chalk paint makes everything look better."
Clearly it does not. FAIL!
