We don't have a mantle, so I decorate the top of our wood corner hutch as if it were a mantle. And here is the hutch. I keep this old typewriter out year round. I just added an old crow to the top. This is the first year I've ever painted pumpkins. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! I love the look. Kind of a nice break from the usual orange. All you need is a couple of cans of spray paint. I used a flat white and chalkboard paint. Sometimes I like to keep it simple. I bought some ceramic pumpkins from the Dollar Store last year. The colors were a bit drab, so I painted two of them white last weekend and love them now! I put one ontop of a vintage desk and this one I added to an upcycled Goodwill cloche that sits on my kitchen counter. I added the word fall to a coffee baked tag. I love the simplicity!...
