Pushing My Buttons

I picked up this little apothecary jar at a church fair last weekend. When I saw it, I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it.

Voila! I added white and gold buttons galore. I never realized just how many buttons I've accumulated through the years! There are probably anywhere from 750-1,000 buttons in there.

I also added an I heart Paris bracelet and faux string of pearls to the mix.

The tea-stained seam binding was the finishing touch. So excited that now I have a pretty way to display my buttons!

Yes, very pretty way to display them. I have started trying to separate mine into colors.

Love it!! This is a great idea to showcase pretty buttons. Love the bracelet tucked in there and the added vintage seam binding is a special touch.

You've combined lots of my favorite things: glass apothecary jars, pretty buttons, and crinkly seam binding! Don't you just love it when you find things while thrifting that aren't only good looking, but functional too?!
