Embellished Apothecary Bottles

Because I refuse to do any sort of shopping these last few days before Xmas (crowds, traffic, etc. - no thanks!), I'm doing some projects with items I already have in the house.  Last night, I decided to embellish some of these apothecary bottles I pick up whenever I'm at a garage sale. Embellished Starbucks Bottles

Last week I wrote a post on a French-y makeover I gave to a vintage-inspired bottle carrier here.  I'm happy to report that I found the perfect bottles to fit inside it!  Believe it or not - they are Starbucks Frappuccino bottles: I simply peeled off the Starbucks labels (after enjoying the Vanilla Frappuccino, of course!).  I replaced them with these great French images from The Graphics Fairy.  I printed them onto to clear Avery label...

French Farmhouse Milk Bottles

I used to display these vintage-ish milk bottles on our kitchen cabinets, but since the kitchen redo, they've been quietly sitting in our basement.  I stumbled across them yesterday and thought bottles this wonderful should not be banished to the basement.
