Just some quickie makeovers for White Wednesday. Drawing inspiration from Petite Michelle Louise, I turned an ordinary ceramic canister (from AmVets) into a Frenchie piece. I simply printed off the image onto label paper, peeled and stuck! Super duper easy. What's nice is, when I get bored with that image, I can just stick on another one. This little flower frog I picked up at a garage sale over the weekend. It was...
White Wednesday: French Wood Drawer
December 19, 2012 / BY Okio B Designs
I picked up this little wood drawer at the thrift store last week. Luckily, it was mild enough yesterday to get some spray painting done. I gave it a few coats of white spray paint, sanded and then added some Frenchy touches: First is this little file tag. It comes pre-packaged with several self-sticking tags and inserts for things like Family Photos, 2012, etc. I cut out some French poetry book paper instead and added that....
White Wednesday

I picked up this little table a week ago from a garage sale. I gave it a quick makeover using some Annie Sloan chalk paint and a French graphic I bought from Etsy some time ago. I gave it two coats of ASCP on Sunday when it was semi-warm out. Yesterday morning, I took my reversed image and Mod Podged it to the top. Eight hours later, I used a wet paper towel to remove...
La Fabuleux Tea Room Sign

I bought this image off of Etsy a year or so ago and I simply love it. ...
White Wednesday

It's my favorite time of the week: White Wednesday (even if it is only Tuesday)! This tray was a garage sale find from last year and since I left it out over the summer, it got a little, um, dirty. So over the weekend I gave it a fresh coat of white paint: Since I'm keeping it indoors this year, I wanted to give it a Frenchy touch, so I printed out this great image...
Clay Pots
March 20, 2012 / BY Okio B Designs
Well hello Spring! So happy you have finally arrived. And what better way to celebrate the first day of this lovely season then with some mini clay pots: I had painted these an aqua blue a couple of years ago but I decided I might like white a little better. I gave each a few coats of spray paint and then added some Frenchy touches. For the first one, I used a Paris sticker and...
